This peppermint winter is so sugar sweet.

There’s something so wonderfully comforting about winter, but I can never quite put my finger on it. I can’t tell if it’s the taste of sweet eggnog lattes, the comfy sweaters I drown myself in, or the many books that consume me. It might also be the pretty lights littering the town, or maybe it’s the anticipation of the first snowfall of the winter. That perfect first snowfall. Where there’s no footprints or tire-tracks or snow plow marks or sand or salt. The snow just glitters. The best is when you see it in the country. There’s not a single sound. Only the whistle of an icy wind. The snow just glitters and sparkles and practically glows. Plus there’s no city lights, so you can see all those pretty stars up in the sky, and if you’re like me and you live in Canada, you might even witness the Northern Lights too. Now that’s a perfect night.

Winter is my favorite season. And if you’re like me, and like to lurk the barren Canadian (or wherever you live) lands and witness the birth of the most beautiful and pristine time of year, here’s a playlist. Keep in mind that this is a playlist for driving at night. In the dark.

And basically anything by LIGHTS will work, just saying.
